Then you get an unfortunate surprise once the page loads. Instead of seeing the page that is supposed to have the content you need, you are forced to cope with a pop up. This pop-up is an advertisement and no matter how many times you try and shut it down, it won’t close—unless you enter in your e-mail address. Finally you may close your browser completely because you are so irritated. The website manager has won!

So many individuals really really detest pop ups and they have a good reason to feel that way. They are seriously irritating. They intrude on your internet use. When they play music or other noises on auto-pilot they get you in trouble at your workplace or with the people in your family who are also in the room. They guarantee ridiculous things. They require that you enter in sensitive information into them if you want them to close. Some even put malware and cookies inside your computer systems. There aren’t a whole bunch of people who actually like to be confronted by these annoying things but so many IMers insist on using them. Why?

The sorry and basic truth is that Internet Marketers use pop-up ads because they work. They receive the interest of the person. They help marketers create e-mail marketing directories. It has been verified many times that you will definitely not get as great a result with a voluntary opt-in box on your sidebar or even into the primary content of your site as you do with a pop up. They have sometimes been known to help produce sales. Sadly, these kinds of annoying aggravating web pests get the job done and, until an individual can come up with something better, most Internet Marketers are going to keep using them.

Of course it doesn’t mean that those exact same IMers must keep using them. What kind of worth is there to an e-mail address that is exclusively given under duress? Usually what goes on is that the person simply chooses to immediately opt out of your list as soon as they get the first e-mail from you. Can your traffic be of prime quality when nearly all of it clicks out of your internet site because they are offended by the pop ups assaulting them? Obviously you would like to earn money, but is this truly your best option? Can’t there be another selection available to people who want to create e-mail lists and sell products?

Simply put, here is the real truth: if your solution is worth the money, it’ll sell simply by the copy on your site. Concentrate first on creating a top quality product so that you won’t have to depend on an annoying pop up to get the job done for you. Write a persuasive sales page or splash page. Catch the reader’s interest and then refuse to give it back over the energy of your subject material and copy. The straightforward truth is that Web marketers only find success and online earnings when they make products that others are going to find valuable. No pop-up ad will ever be able to replace the true value of a product.
